Seriously Geeky Sundays: Smiles

As part of Seriously Geeky Sundays by Just Geeking By we celebrate National Smile Day with the things that make us smile.

For more information on Seriously Geeky Sundays and the selection of questions for June check out this post which I’m looking forward to starting.

For now, lets finish up May with a smile.

What TV shows do you love?

I love a lot of crime dramas and comedies.  Some favourites include Castle, NCIS and Criminal Minds for the crime dramas.

What are your favourite movie genres?

Anything Disney is always up there.  I don’t watch a lot of films and am regularly that person who has not seen films that apparently everyone has seen.

What do you like to read?

I haven’t read a novel in a while as I sort of fell out of it.  However, I love crime novels like the Rizzoli and Isles series by Tess Gerritsen and the Dexter series by Jeff Lindsay.

Though my latest novel purchase was Each Little Universe by Chris Durston.  I can’t wait to read it but at the same time I don’t want to start it and reach the end of it.

What about games?

I love a lot of games and my favourites change depending on the time, what I have been playing and what I feel like.  Some favourites are Zoo Tycoon: Ultimate Animal Collection, the Mass Effect series and the Pokemon series.  I am slightly cheating by including series there but they have so many memories involved in both and I love the games for that.  I have so many games that I love that I could mention here but I will stop there.

What geeky thing made you smile this week?

My emotes on Twitch went live this week after being approved.  I was so excited to share the first two and seeing them in chat the first time was brilliant.

What quote always makes you smile?

I finished Final Fantasy XV last night and this one has been making me laugh and smile since.  “Off my chair, Jester.  The King sits there.”  You have got to love the confidence and the attitude of a man who has to face his fate.

I hope the last day of May treats you well.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
