Today’s Seriously Geeky Sunday prompt has had me thinking of snacks and all the tasty food we could have available. I mean what else could a prompt about food have you doing. As Heather over at Just Geeking By says “today is National Cherry Cobbler Day and National Walnut Day, and there were a whole bunch of other National food days this week so naturally this week’s theme had to be food related. How could it not?”. Therefore today’s post may cause hunger so keep the snacks handy.
If you could have any fictional food item become reality, what would it be?
I admire the look of the food in Final Fantasy XV ever time I have Ignis cook something. They all look so good.
I like to think of this image as him in thought and trying to come up with a new recipe. Though it probably isn’t.
What is your favourite food moment/scene?
Anything in Ratatouille. I love that film and Remy. I love the passion that Remy has for food so any moment where he can show that is wonderful.
What fictional restaurant would you like to visit?
Anywhere that has a good chocolate cake or similar on the menu. I’d like to try so many things in fictional restaurants but I want to know what their chocolate cakes would taste like. I have my priorities! Though maybe I should try to pick a fictional bakery or patisserie…
What is the most decadent dessert you’ve seen in a fandom?
I think whenever cakes appear in games they look phenomenal. There is a joy in cake and desserts.
What is the most disgusting food item you’ve seen?
Whilst I haven’t played it Resident Evil 7 has an “interesting” table that has food on it. From the screenshots I have seen that looks like the most disgusting thing I could imagine food to look like.
What is your favourite fandom inspired recipe/food item?
I know recipe books inspired by fandoms exist but my favourite fandom inspired recipe/food item is just everything posted on Sheikah Plate. I have very little ability in the cooking or baking skill area but I loved reading this blog and the talent of crafting these recipes.
Now I’m off to gather some real life food…. or find the chocolate. Perhaps that saved bag of mini eggs will find themselves to my side today….

I’ve always liked the look of the sweetrolls from the Elder Scrolls series. I know there are actial recipes out there to make them, I’ve just never been brave enough to try it…

I think I heard of a blogger that had an Elder Scrolls recipe book. Or something similar. I’m not sure who it was but there could be a cook-a-long or bake-a-long in the community? If you ever do try to make the sweetrolls let me know how it goes!

You are one of my people. The decadent desert question maaay have been courtesy of my sweet tooth 😉 I check the dessert section before anything else even if I’m not getting any. As you said, gotta have priorities! 😉

I’m so glad. I really love seeing the ones on offer even if I’m not going to eat any of them or I’m going with my classic/basic choices. I just need to see all the cakes and dessert descriptions.
