Super Specific Liebster Award

Well if you know Matt from Normal Happenings you will know that he tends to get super specific when he receives blog awards. He comes up with fantastic questions but they are definitely specific. I recently (well… a few months ago) posted the answers to the Super Specific Sunshine Blogger Award that he mirror tagged me in the nominations for and now I’m back with his Super Specific Liebster Award questions to answer. Thanks Matt for all the questions! Also be sure to check out Normal Happenings especially The Games That Define Us which he kindly let me take part in.

Ask your best friend/significant other to make an annoying animal sound. How did they react, and what animal did they imitate?

Well Player 2 decided he didn’t want to play this game. Ok I hadn’t told him what it was about but he said he doesn’t do good impressions. All I’m saying is he will at times whether they are good or not (love you if you are reading!).

*POOF* I am your barista. Order your favorite coffee shop beverage exactly as you would in real life.

So I don’t drink tea, coffee or hot chocolate so this is kind of awkward but here goes. *picks up bottle of water* *puts bottle of water at the counter* Just this please. *hands over money* Thanks! Have a good day! *walks off*

Do numbers have personalities in your mind? If so, tell me about the personality of the number 6. What’s it’s story? What kind of disposition does it have?

Sure numbers can have personalities. I mean why not. They behave in different ways so they should be different in other ways. I’d say 6 was a little nervous (because of being next to 7 and 7, 8, 9… yeah I know that’s terrible joke) but proud.

What is your favorite movie title? Not your favorite movie, just the title, irrespective of the quality of the film.

I love when you look at film times and you see those niche films that you wouldn’t necessarily be interested in but get shown once or twice a day midweek. The ones with the long descriptive titles. These are fascinating. I can’t say I have seen any of them but my favourite that I have seen or heard about was “The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society”. This title just stuck with me. I think this is now out on DVD because I’m sure I saw it in the supermarket.

Story time! Your best friend suddenly finds themselves in the body of your least favorite animal. Craft a story of five sentences or less with this unfortunate predicament as a central plot mechanic. Bonus points if it’s the same animal they chose to imitate.

Well like I said last time Matt I don’t feel confident with story time. However, the central plot would entail my poor other half trying to survive as I scream for someone to help and save me.

Tell me. Do Buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo?

Tell us about the most boring game show you could ever imagine.

As paint is drying you have to predict the time it takes to dry fully. The contestants state a time as the paint is being painted and they have to watch it dry. During the show they also have to predict the paint colour but all are shades of white and cream like Frosted Dawn, Moon Shimmer or Morning Light. Bonus points are awarded for giving paint facts whilst waiting for the paint to dry.

Useless Superpower Bedbug: The Return!
Which of the following useless superpowers would choose and why?
– The ability to randomly add cat meows to every song on the radio
– The ability to randomly add the Pizza Planet truck from Toy Story to even the most intense of any movie scene
– The ability to randomly add Owen Wilson saying “WOW” to any line of dialog in a video game

The ability to add cat meows to every song on the radio. I think this would add a little something and would bring me such joy.

What is the hexadecimal color code for your favorite color?

I’m partial to #CC66FF but #FF99DD and #E6FFFF are all lovely too.

On a scale of one to 15,742.58, how do you feel about these super specific questions?

12463.6382 obviously.

Thanks again Matt for the super specific questions. Check out his work at Normal Happenings and all his fantastic collaborations.

What does everyone think of my boring game show? Could I be on to a great idea? What do you mean no…

  1. Your game show is definitely compellingly boring. Brilliant, even! But as a graphic artist, I think I my be entranced by the super-specific color guessing portion of the event. It would require contestants to closely study different shades, leading to some real tension.

Thanks for taking on the questions! If you’re not careful, you could get a Nice Job Badge out of this whole thing!
