We have come to the end of our gaming singing that AmbiGaming came up with for this 12 days of Blogmas event. Thank you so much Athena for coming up with this and for giving me such fantastic prompts to work with.
Anyway, we should see what the last present under the tree is.
On the 1st day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: What are 12 favorite gaming memories?
On the 2nd day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: Tell us 11 games you love!
On the 3rd day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: What are 10 reasons you’d play a game?
On the 4th day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: Give us 9 games on your to-play list.
On the 5th day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: Eight characters you love!
On the 6th day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: Share seven of your favorite posts.
On the 7th day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: Tell us your six gaming/blogging resolutions.
On the 8th day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: What are five games you’ve played more than once?
On the 9th day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: Share four dramatic/memorable game moments.
On the 10th day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: What are three things you want gamers to know about games for the new year?
On the 11th day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: List two games you’d improve.
On the 12th day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: Tell us the one best reason to play video games.

Games can show us stories in far flung galaxies or in foreign countries or in different time periods.

Games provide an escape from the mundane activities of being an adult, like paying bills, or the stresses of general life or just a place to go to when you feel overwhelmed.
Games can provide comfort, new friends in the real world or the virtual one whether these are the characters on screen or people somewhere else.

Games can teach us about the past, let us explore places we will never see and create worlds that can inspire us.
Games give us something that brings us into them and allows us to be people we imagine as well as travel, save the world or create our own.

This sense of wonder, connection and creation that I can’t fully describe is the best reason to play games. They are something different to every person and that is pretty amazing.
So that feeling, for me, is the best reason to play games because it can be the same and yet different for every person. Always remember to enjoy yourself.
