On the ninth day of Blogmas

We only have a few more days of the incredible AmbiGaming‘s Blogmas event to go. This has been such fun so far and there are such great prompts to come as well. Anyway shall I begin singing again? No… well you can sing it yourself.

12 days of Blogmas!

On the 1st day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: What are 12 favorite gaming memories?

On the 2nd day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: Tell us 11 games you love!

On the 3rd day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: What are 10 reasons you’d play a game?

On the 4th day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: Give us 9 games on your to-play list.

On the 5th day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: Eight characters you love!

On the 6th day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: Share seven of your favorite posts.

On the 7th day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: Tell us your six gaming/blogging resolutions.

On the 8th day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: What are five games you’ve played more than once?

On the 9th day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: Share four dramatic/memorable game moments.

I’m the very model of a scientist Salarian.

I could mention so many Mass Effect moments but seeing Mordin make his choice to sacrifice himself for the benefit of others was so dramatic and emotional.

Khemu dying

Bayek from Assassin’s Creed Origins

So this moment in Assassin’s Creed Origins was so tough. That whole scene I knew it wouldn’t end well but I don’t think I realised how bad it would be. After seeing that scene it made all the stone circles so much more emotional.

Saying goodbye to Lee

Clem from Telltale The Walking Dead

Oh Lee. You protected Clem and taught her so much even though you really didn’t have to. When you have the final choice to make it is so hard and so emotional. For those wondering yes the picture of Clem is so I didn’t have to relive that Lee scene!

The end to What Remains of Edith Finch

You knew it was likely. You suspected. That all said it still hit you emotionally. It was done so simply and so effectively. It has just stuck as did several aspects of that game.

What dramatic/memorable moments have stuck with you?

  1. 🎶I am the very model of a scientist salarian!
I’ve studied species, turian, asari, and batarian.
I’m quite good at genetics (as a subset of biology),
because I am an expert (which I know is a tautology).

My xenoscience studies range from urban to agrarian –

I’ll always miss that dude 😦
