On the eighth day of Blogmas

AmbiGaming is fantastic at coming up with interesting posts (seriously check out her posts!) and if this event is anything to go by she is also fantastic at community events.

If you have been following along you know where we are and what the carol singing story is but if you are new here then we are taking 12 days of Christmas with a gaming slant.

12 days of Blogmas!

*starts singing*

On the 1st day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: What are 12 favorite gaming memories?

On the 2nd day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: Tell us 11 games you love!

On the 3rd day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: What are 10 reasons you’d play a game?

On the 4th day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: Give us 9 games on your to-play list.

On the 5th day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: Eight characters you love!

On the 6th day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: Share seven of your favorite posts.

On the 7th day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: Tell us your six gaming/blogging resolutions.

On the 8th day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: What are five games you’ve played more than once?

Amazingly I struggled with this. My mind just went blank even though there are probably loads of examples. In the end I settled on a few that came to mind first.

Pokémon games

Team Rocket and Pirate dressed Pikachu plushies.
The Pikachus are watching!

Can I just mention different varieties of these as all 5? Maybe not, that would get a bit boring. I’m going to start with the original, Pokémon Blue (as that was the version I had).

Batman Arkham Asylum

I’ve played this a couple of times. I’m not sure how many but it is a few. I still don’t know why this came to mind, maybe I’m in a Batman mood and should play the Arkham games again…

Tetris

I think everyone has played this more than once but it is a classic. I’m sure I played this in different formats as well.

Any Picross game – mainly Picross DS and Picross 3D

I love these games and have played both of them multiple times going through every puzzle. In some ways these are comfort games for me. I know I have played Picross 3D at least 4 times, though it may be a few more.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag

This is maybe cheating slightly as I started it on Xbox 360 then stopped partway. Then we got it on Xbox One and I played it there. I was actually thinking of doing a replay of this because pirates, sailing and assassins.

These were the first games that came to mind (that didn’t involve Crash Bandicoot as I’m sure I have mentioned that game enough) and I’m sure once this is posted I will think of lots of other examples. What games have you played more than once?
