Athena at AmbiGaming is a clever one. She came up with this 12 days of Blogmas event and obviously (well you might have picked up on it by now) I had to take part. Today is a fun one to head back into the archives. Let’s start my singing or are you getting bored of me singing along?
On the 1st day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: What are 12 favorite gaming memories?
On the 2nd day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: Tell us 11 games you love!
On the 3rd day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: What are 10 reasons you’d play a game?
On the 4th day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: Give us 9 games on your to-play list.
On the 5th day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: Eight characters you love!
On the 6th day of Christmas, the gamers said to me: Share seven of your favorite posts?
Favourite might be an odd word for this, but for a couple of reasons I really love this post. It is an important one for me to write and it gave me some feeling of release almost by writing it. This post worked well in the way of helping me by writing it and maybe helping someone by reading it.

Mourning the loss of Telltale allowed me to go back through to some of my favourite moments from Telltale games. I hope their former employees are finding themselves in a better position and managed to have a happy Christmas period. They created so many moments and characters that have stuck with me and I am glad I got the chance to play their games.
High Score Haute Couture: The Gaming Fashion Show 2018 Judging
This was a fantastic event to be a judge for and was such a fun piece to write. I had to read two fantastic fashion show blog posts and choose my winner with votes from other judges also being cast. Being able to take part in events is great fun and I really enjoy the posts that come out from them.
The Media and Gaming Addiction
I really enjoyed writing this piece but, at the same time, also disliked the fact that I felt like it was necessary to write. The media tends to misinterpret certain aspects of gaming, especially when they want to create a reaction. Since gaming addiction was a big news topic this year I wrote this to clear up some of the misconceptions.
Again it is a group collaboration with lots of fantastic bloggers posting their own ideas for players. Sure I may not have been as inventive as others but I enjoyed taking part.
I could have picked any of these but I love these posts. I enjoy writing them and remembering the happy moments and even the daft moments is good for me.
The Games That Define Us Crash Bandicoot

This was a fantastic collaboration run by Matt at Normal Happenings. I had to take part and do another post on Crash Bandicoot. Thanks to Matt for letting me take part and doing such a fantastic design on this post. This is one of my favourite posts of this year because it was a part of an amazing project with so many talented writers.
I posted quite a few blog posts this year but these are my favourites of my posts from this year. Hopefully next year will be a good time for my blogging.
Ahh, you’ve written a lot of awesome posts this year 😀
